Reason for Bulletin:

Customers who purchased part number N110082D072A (PTP 820, 2’ Antenna, SP, 11 GHZ, with single polarity) may have received an antenna that only supports dual polarity.

Symptom:

You can identify whether you received a single pole antenna vs. a dual pole antenna by checking the vendor code on the antenna.

Vendor Code: VHLP2-11W-CR8: Dual pole antenna
VHLP2-11W-CR7: Single pole antenna

Resolution:

1) If you are planning to use N110082D072A with dual pole deployment (e.g – PTP8xx deployment using OMT kit) you do not need to do anything, since the antenna is dual polarity.
2) If you are planning to use N110082D072A with single pole deployment, but the antenna has a vendor code of VHLP2-11W-CR8, Cambium will provide you with a solution. Please open a support ticket with Cambium Support for assistance.
