Overview
In August 2024, the "Dampflok Erlebniswelt" opened in Germany, a museum in a historic building that is all about steam locomotives and railroads. The particular highlight is a historic steam locomotive built in 1914. Locomotive 92 739, model T13 of the Union type, is divided into three sections along its longitudinal axis and is accessible for the visitors. Interactive media stations with photos, videos and reports from contemporary people invite visitors to join in and discover.
To ensure that the Steam Locomotive Experience also offers its visitors and employees modern internet connections in all areas of the museum, MUGLER SE was commissioned to set up a Wi-Fi network. Following positive previous experiences, products from Cambium Networks were implemented.
