PMP 450 2×2 Access Points
The PMP 450 platform includes a variety of 2×2 MIMO APs ideal for applications where the scalability of the 450m (cnMedusa) is not required. Built upon advanced FPGA & SoC architecture, PMP 450 APs utilize Cambium Networks’ proprietary MAC / scheduling algorithm to enable highly efficient use of limited spectrum and maximum bandwidth allocation, supporting large numbers of subscribers per sector with minimal latency. Frequency re-use via GPS synchronization allows for efficient spectrum re-use throughout the network. PMP 450 APs, and the PMP 450 platform in general, offer a vast feature set including extensive L2 management capabilities, highly configurable channel width & spacing, and a host of other parameters.
The PMP 450i access point include ultra-wide band support for the entire 4.9-5 GHz and 3 GHz bands. The 450i also features dynamic interference filtering, and rugged metal enclosures designed to meet IP-66 and IP-67 standards to withstand harsh environments. Optional ATEX/HAZLOC certified models available for hazardous deployments. PMP 450i Access Points in 3 GHz and 5 GHz are available in two form factors; either Integrated with 90° high performance Sector antenna or connectorized for external antenna.

PMP 450 MicroPoP Fixed Wireless Access Points
The 450 platform adds another tool to more completely connect hard-to-reach subscribers with the affordable MicroPoP Fixed Wireless Access Point. The same purpose-built, software-defined radio technology as in other 450 platform products, this addition can help “fill in” gaps in an existing network, or extend coverage to areas that are not economically feasible with larger or traditional Access Points.
