Powerful communications network platform for automation and digitalization in warehousing and logistics
Munich/Stuttgart, February 14, 2024 – Cambium Networks (NASDAQ: CMBM), a leading global provider of wireless network solutions, participates in the LogiMAT 2024 exhibition in Stuttgart together with the ICS Group. At the international trade fair for logistics, intralogistics and process management, Cambium Networks will present its ONE Network solutions that provide the coverage and capacity needed to serve as the basis for increased digitalization and automation in the logistics industry. Centralized cloud management of the entire network makes it easy to maximize uptime and reduce maintenance costs. Cambium Networks and the ICS Group will showcase their solutions in Hall 8, Stand A21, from March 19 to 21.
A stable and cost-efficient network infrastructure is required for reliable data transfers in real-time – for example between mobile devices such as scanners, tablets, or toughbooks as well as between automated systems, applications, and machines – and IoT applications. It is particularly important that the network solution works smoothly as any brief outage has the potential to disrupt the entire supply chain. Powerful and comprehensive Wi-Fi networks are therefore a suitable network solution for the warehouse and logistics industry.
Wi-Fi networks in warehousing and logistics must cover the entire site. This includes both indoor outdoor areas such as loading bays where weather conditions can sometimes be harsh and difficult. It is therefore important that the devices are resistant to dust or moisture and also work in extended temperature ranges. In addition to high bandwidths, the Wi-Fi solution should also offer seamless roaming and enable an easy registration of new devices.
